Red Hill School is currently closed due to the COVID-19 situation. Please look out for texts and view the website for further details.
Dear parents and carers,
I hope that you are all safe and well, and have enjoyed the bank holiday weekend with your families as much as possible during the current COVID-19 situation.
I imagine that many of you watched the government announcement last night, where the prime minister mentioned certain changes to the lockdown; this included the potential return to school for children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 from Monday June 1st.
I wanted to make you all aware that, over the past few weeks, my senior leadership team, governors and I have already started to make plans on a possible return to Red Hill, depending on what the government announced yesterday evening. With any decision we make, the safety and wellbeing of children, staff and parents will always come first when, and how, we consider reopening for these classes.
We will let you know how this may look before summer half term, via text and / or the school website. Please do not phone / email school, asking for further details of your child's return, until these details are shared.
In the meantime, stay safe, and I look forward to welcoming everyone back to Red Hill when it is safe to do so.
